It can be challenging to format the letter on your own if you’re sending it in a double-window envelope. A template for creating and editing labels for a manuscript or letter that will be placed in a double-window envelope is available in Microsoft Word. This eliminates the element of uncertainty involved in trying to create the label yourself.
Step 1
Wait for Microsoft Word to fully load on your screen before starting to use it. Next to “References” and “Review” at the top of the screen, click the “Mailings” option. There will be more choices below the tab.
Step 2
A little envelopes window will load in the center of your screen after you choose “Envelopes” in.
Step 3
Enter the delivery address in the “Delivery Address” field by clicking the “Envelopes” tab in the window. Your return address should be entered in the window’s lower field.
Step 4
By choosing “Add to Document,” the double-window envelope’s proper formatting will be added to the Word document. All of the text will line up with the two empty windows when printed on a regular sheet of paper and folded.
